Wow - two comments already. I think it took a month for A Little Greener Every Day to get its first comment.

Janine - thanks for spreading the word. I am planning on expanding my garden. I would love to do some strawberries, but I'm concerned about the critters getting all the berries first so I think I'll just stick to vegetables and herbs.

One of the things I was thinking of was using a sunny spot in my front yard for my herbs. A lot of my herbs went unused last year because they just grew like crazy. I would take bouquets of basil to people's houses when I dropped my kids off to paly. I think if I put them in my front yard and let the neighbors know they are welcome to just come pick, it will be a good community builder. Then I can use the space the herbs were in last year to plant more vegetables.

Lisa - welcome. Thanks for heading over.

If you ever come upon any information that you think would fit with this blog, feel free to e-mail me.

I think this is a great idea and I'm so glad you're doing it. I'll pass the word on.

BTW - Are you planning on expanding your garden this year? I need to research but was thinking of putting in berry bushes as some back yard shrubbery.
