Sustenance on the Farm dinner
The Griggstown Quail Farm in Princeton will hold a Sustenance on the Farm dinner on July 19th from 4 – 7pm.
Tickets are $145 – yes, steep, but keep reading for all that happens during one of these dinner. I’m not in the position to go to this dinner, but I’d love to if I could.
No one under 21 is admitted.
Here’s what happens at a Sustenance on the Farm dinner:
SustenanceTM on the Farm Dinners introduce people to amazing, local, and sustainable food at gourmet 5 course dinners at the farm, orchard, or historic site where the food is produced. Sustenance dinners combine style and taste with environmental responsibility leaving behind the smallest carbon footprint possible. A portion of the proceeds from SustenanceTM on the Farm Dinners will help support local non-profit programs that foster earth stewardship and support food justice programs.
During a SustenanceTM on the Farm dinner the guests learn about the connection between our palates, our plates, and our planet from the farmer, chef, winemaker, & food artisans.
• The evening begins with a farmer guided educational tour of the farm
• A top local chef prepares 5 amazing courses of great local food
• Each dinner course is paired with fabulous Biodynamic and Organic wine
• The majority of the food is sourced from the farm site
• Dinners accommodates 100 or more guests
• Sustainable practices are the cornerstone of the farm dinners
• The dinners take place in farm fields, orchards, or historic sites
• Local musicians perform enhancing the dining experience
