South Jersey Farm to Fork Week: July 19-25
The fabulous South Jersey Hot Chefs will be hosting their annual Farm to Fork week from July 19th – 25th. They invite you to “taste what happens when SJ’s Hottest Chefs team up with SJ’s Freshest Produce.” Diners can enjoy 4 courses prepared with fresh food from our local farms for $35/person (a few of the restaurants are offering their dinners for $25/person!).

During last summer’s Farm to Fork week
Tallies show that participating chefs bought between $150,000 and $175,000 in goods from local farmers, producers, and vintners during Farm to Fork Week, and fed an estimated 60,000 to 70,000 people.
That’s an amazing amount of money pumped into our local agricultural economy. I can imagine that many farmers get a big boost from this event.
