Another great tweetup at Tortilla Press

Chef Mark welcomes twitter users at last summer's tweetup.
Last Thursday night, Chef Mark from the Tortilla Press hosted another tweetup for twitter users in the region. The first tweetup was this past summer, and focused mainly on foodie twitter users. This recent tweetup had twitter users with more of a variety of interests so I got to reunite with some of the foodies I met at the last tweetup, and I got to meet some new folks, too.
Even though not everyone at the event would consider himself a foodie, everyone enjoyed the food that Chef Mark prepared for us. We were treated to a variety of appetizers. The vegetable/goat cheese empanadas were delicious. I was told that everything else was delicious, but I saved my appetite for the dinner that followed the tweetup. I heard lots of ravings over the chorizo/sweet potato empanadas.
There will be another tweetup sometime in the new year. The next one will most likely be at the Tortilla Press Cantina – Chef Mark’s other restaurant that he just reopened in Pennsauken.
I volunteered to take the sign in sheet with everyone’s twitter user names on it so that those in attendance can make sure we all follow each other. Even if you weren’t at the tweetup, follow these South Jersey twitter users. And come out to the next tweetup. I’ll let you know when it’s going to be.

CAn’t wait till the next tweetup!
It was a great event. Nice to see some familiar faces and meet some new South Jersey “tweeples.”
Loved the event. The food from Chef Mark was amazing (I went back the next week and ordered all the same stuff for a holiday party at my house!), and the conversation about Twitter was just as good.
