New weekly vendor market in Cherry Hill is looking for vendors
I received an e-mail from Sustainable Cherry Hill about a new vendor market that will run on Friday afternoon from spring into fall. They want vendors to sell produce, baked goods, flowers, plants, coffee/teas, dog treats, prepared foods, etc.
I thought I’d pass the request on to all of you in case you’re interested or someone you know is interested in setting up a table. I’m certainly interested in shopping there once it’s up and operational.

Here’s a word from our friends at
St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church
about their new Cherry Hill Vendors Market…
Dear Robin,
Starting approximately May and ending possibly in October, St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Route 70 (next to Ponzio’s) will be offering a “Cherry Hill Vendor’s Market” from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday in the church parking lot. We feel the location is ideal, and that we will have enough parking lot to support approximately 12-15 vendors and additional parking for customers. Our focus will be on the smaller Cherry Hill merchants who can offer unique products much like a farmer’s market. We will want only a few of any given product – i.e., produce, baked goods, flowers, plants, coffee/teas, dog treats, prepared foods, etc. We want to maintain the integrity and success of this initiative by having a proper mix so that the merchants won’t be overwhelmed with competition for the same dollars. And we will only invite Cherry Hill merchants to participate.
We will ask the merchants to sign a lease for that period, and we expect to receive a rent check by the first of each month for the period we’re open – possibly six months. The rent would be $30 per vendor per week or $120 a month. The vendor would be expected to provide the church with proof of liability insurance to protect the church.
In return, the church will provide you not only the space on Rt 70 with prominent signage, but as much promotion and support as possible. We have a web page, an electronic newsletter, a nursery school with 300 families, a thriving congregation, and exposure to many outside groups that utilize our church.
I would ask anyone who is interested in this program and who would like more information to please get in touch with me asap. I can be reached at home: 856-795-3428 or by cell: 609-706-3552 or my email address: Barbara.Hansen3428@yahoo.com.

Please contact Barbara directly if you are interested in participating. We’ll see you there!
