Vote for your favorite farmers market

2010 July 22

American Farmland Trust is once again running its America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest. Markets all across the country compete in four categories: Boutique - 15 or fewer vendors, Small 16 – 30 vendors, Medium, 31 – 55 vendors, and Large, more than 56 vendors.

Last year, the Collingswood Farmers Market won for the favorite small market in the entire country – pretty impressive, isn’t it? Voting has begun for this year’s contest, and Collingswood is once again near the top. It’s gotten the most votes in NJ so far, and it could possibly take first place again in the entire country.

But, you don’t have to vote for Collingswood. You can vote for your favorite market. If the market hasn’t signed up for the competition yet, there is still time to do that, too.

The reward for the winning market in each category will be a shipment of No Farms No Food® tote bags, along with other prizes including free printing services from igreenprint and free graphic design services from Virginia based design firm, SQN Communications.
