Feast in the Fields at Spinella Farms in Waterford on September 12
One of our readers, Deb, brought this to my attention. There will be a Feast in the Fields this Saturday night at Spinella Farms. The food will be prepared by Scaturros of Marlton. Here are the details. There doesn’t seem to be any reservation information. I would suggest contacting Scaturros at 856-985-4560 if you’re interested.
DATE: September 12th, 2010 4pm | Dinner to be served promptly at 5pm.
$45.00 per person Inclusive of tax & gratuity. Includes a tractor tour of the farm.
Menu
- Roasted Stuffed Spinella Farms Eggplant with sausage and onions atop pomodoro sauce
- Red snapper Filet topped with slow roasted zucchini, onion & tomatoes
- Grilled Chicken Caprese with heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzerella basil and
topped with roasted garlic broth - Homemade Fusilli with carmelized butternut squash, wilted arugula and grilled bay scallops in a white wine butter sauce topped with our toasted seasoned bread crumbs.
- Sauteed string beans, grilled fennel & roasted potatoes
- Farmhouse salad with Spinella farms mixed greens, french breakfast radishes, teardrop tomatoes, cucumbers with a goat cheese dressing.
- Spinellas apple cobbler
Sounds delicious. Unfortunately, my sons first baseball game of the season is that evening so I won’t be able to attend. Someday, I’ll get to one of these farm dinners!
