A quick heads up that the 2014 South Jersey Hot Chefs Spring Restaurant Week starts this Sunday, March 16 and runs through Friday March 21. About 40 local restaurants will offer four courses for $35 (some restaurants will be $25), not including beverages, taxes and gratuity.
These independent, local restaurants have taken a hit with the harsh winter. Some of them chose to close on some of the worst days to make sure their staff were safe and able to be home with family when the conditions were hazardous. Many of them saw very slow nights as costumers understandably stayed home. We are gleefully starting to see some nicer days and getting out and about. Let’s make sure we get out to these independent restaurants during South Jersey Spring Restaurant Week to help lessen the financial effects of winter.
Grab a group, make your reservations, and remember to tip generously. The waitstaff have been hard hit, too.
